This resume company specializes at resume writing for executives. The only writer of this company, a former recruiter and award-winning resume writer, promises to “empower you to the role you want”. They also list their advantages in detail and have a blog with expert advice. As for the website, it has quite professional design – black and white, without annoying banners and mistakes. For me a good resume was a priority, and I decided to go for this company.
Price policy
I expected to see prices on the site, but found none. On the contact page I discovered that I had to visit another website of this writer to see the prices. This seemed quite weird for me. However, I visited that site and noticed that the prices start from $2197 and the VIP career package is $5297. I stayed on the cheapest one, which was still the highest price I ever paid for having my resume written.
Order Details
I filled in the form on the other site and the writer replied me back in three hours. I was asked to send my old resume, job ads and other career related information. We also scheduled a phone conversation to discuss my career objectives in deeper detail. The next day we talked and the writer asked me some extra questions. A phone consultation was quite brief, though. The standard delivery time is within a month – unless you order rush delivery and pay extra.
Quality of writing and support
As this is a site of a single writer, there’s no customer support. You can contact the resume writer directly, but note that it usually takes her quite long to get back to you. After sending my documents and a consultation I haven’t heard from the writer. Two weeks have passed, I felt uneasy as I missed two great job opportunities. I called her to find out the delivery date, and the writer promised to send me finished documents within four days.
Conclusion
After I reviewed my resume, I had to admit it was really well-written. I hope that it will work for me. But why did it take so long? These days you need to be fast if you want to get a great job. Not everyone can wait for like three weeks. Classy Resumes and some of the other sites I considered provide five days delivery. Moreover, the price is just enormously high. I don’t think I’ll order such an expensive resume again. There are lots of affordable services around, and I will pay attention to quality of work, not awards and certificates.
